Rachel helped found the website YUL.Buzz with Britanny Burr (Head Writer) and Matthew Turgeon (owner), contributing to determining the website content, formulating the mission statement, providing an editorial voice and participating in the hiring of the writers. She regularly maintained the Editorial Calendar and also helped prepare the Editorial Guidelines, Authors Packages and Website Maintenance documents for YUL.Buzz.

Previously, Rachel has experience in copyediting for Soliloquies literary journal, YUL.Buzz and independent clients.

Rachel has updated websites and blogs for Lower Canada College’s Library, Queen Mary University of London Library and YUL.Buzz. Tasks involved creating new posts, editing posts, checking links and creating photo galleries. She has considerable experience in using Twitter, Instagram, WordPress and Facebook to promote events and brands.

Rachel writes fiction, memoir-style nonfiction, article nonfiction, book reviews and, frankly, if you need her to she could definitely write an accessible TV remote manual. She loves a new challenge and is willing to try most things at least three-to-six times.
